We've published our new 2024/25 Annual Stakeholder Report, celebrating a year of significant achievement, growth and continued commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive education and care for children and young people with SEND.
The report highlights another highly successful year across the William Henry Smith School & Sixth Form, Specialist College and Boothroyd House, underpinned by strong leadership, dedicated staff teams and the resilience, curiosity and determination of our students.
Key highlights
- We employ 233 staff across our settings
- 2 Ofsted Outstanding judgements
- Our therapies team provided support to 41 families and held 66 group sessions
- We achieved a 100% pass rate for all students entering entry level qualifications and GCSE maths and art
- Our overall whole school attendance is 98%
- Our careers team designed and delivered over 50 events involving over 20 employers

Our mission extends beyond our own settings. By working with schools, local authorities, and partner organisations, we share knowledge, advocate for change, and strive for lasting impact across education and care.
None of this would be possible without our remarkable staff. Their skill, dedication, and compassion are the foundation of our success and the reason we continue to make a difference.
